Carbon is coming soon; the date is still unannounced
Checked October 29, 2026. Google has announced Gemini 4 Carbon and describes a limited initial rollout to selected cyber defenders and trusted partners. It has not announced a public release date in the official introduction.
Expected public availability: date to be announced by Google. TryCarbon AI plans to enable Carbon after public API access and integration checks. We cannot guarantee a launch date or priority access.
What is available here now?
The first model connected to our chat is Gemini 4 Argon, using the gemini-4-argon API identifier. A real API request was successfully verified on October 29, 2026. Chat uses prepaid credits, saves history and streams text responses.
Carbon is not selectable, and we do not label Argon responses as Carbon. Purchases are for the currently available Argon chat; they do not promise Carbon access.
